What are the temperature requirements for carbon fiber products during molding

browse: 次    Date of issue:2021-07-07

Let's first understand the molding process. Molding process is a very common manufacturing process. Its advantage is that it can produce high-specification carbon fiber products. The whole process of molding process is to make molds according to the size of carbon fiber products
Whether it is done well or not directly affects the accuracy of carbon fiber products produced. Then lay the layer according to the made mold, design the layer according to the required material properties, and then cover the laid product through the mold. After closing the mold, give it a certain temperature and pressure on the hot press, solidify it under high temperature and high pressure, and finally demould it for machining.
It can be seen from the whole process that the carbon fiber products have temperature control in the whole process of forming. If the temperature control is not in place, it will easily lead to poor performance of the whole product, such as incomplete forming, etc.
In the molding process, if the molding temperature is relatively low, the resin fluidity may be too low. The result is that the resin impregnation of the whole carbon fiber product is less, and the result is low cross-linking reaction. Finally, the strength of the carbon fiber product after molding will be small.
If the temperature is too high, the resin fluidity will be high, and the crosslinking reaction will be carried out in advance. Often, the inner prepreg has not flowed, and the outer prepreg has started the crosslinking reaction, which will lead to inconsistent internal and external curing during the molding of the whole carbon fiber product, and the result is inconsistent internal of the carbon fiber product, The product is easy to crack or deform in use.
